Local sessions and settings
Gyro stores sessions, workspace settings, logs, and local app state on your Mac. Provider credentials are stored through the macOS Keychain when that option is available. Gyro does not require a Gyro account.
What model providers receive
When you run a configured coding agent or model provider, that provider receives the prompts, selected files, tool context, and other content needed to complete your request. Its own privacy terms apply. Gyro does not operate a proxy service for that traffic.
Telemetry and this website
Gyro app telemetry is off by default. This website has no analytics, advertising cookies, account gate, remote fonts, or tracking pixels. Cloudflare serves the website, and GitHub serves release downloads. Both providers may process ordinary request metadata under their own policies.
Delete your data
Delete individual sessions in Gyro. To remove the app, move
Gyro.app to the Trash. To remove local sessions and settings too,
delete ~/Library/Application Support/Gyro. Data
already sent to a configured provider must be handled through that
provider.
Public alpha, license, and support
Gyro is public-alpha software and may change, fail, or lose compatibility. It is released under the Apache License 2.0 and provided without warranties beyond those required by law. Support is community-based and best effort.
This notice is informational. Gyro has no paid plan, hosted service, or account contract.
