Local sessions and settings
Gyro stores sessions, settings, logs, and app state on your Mac. When available, provider credentials live in macOS Keychain. No Gyro account is required for the current alpha.
What model providers receive
Providers receive the prompts, selected files, tool context, and anything else needed to complete your request. Their policies apply. Gyro does not proxy this traffic.
Telemetry and this website
App telemetry is off by default. This site has no analytics, ads, account gate, remote fonts, or tracking pixels. Cloudflare hosts the site and GitHub hosts downloads; both process normal request metadata under their own policies.
Delete your data
Delete sessions in Gyro. To delete the app, move Gyro.app to
Trash. To remove local data, delete
~/Library/Application Support/Gyro. Provider data is
managed by that provider.
Public alpha, license, and support
Gyro is public-alpha software: it may change, fail, or lose compatibility. It uses Apache License 2.0 and comes without warranties beyond the law. Support is best-effort.
The current alpha has no paid plan, hosted model service, or Gyro account requirement.
Trademarks and assets
Apple, macOS, and the Apple logo are Apple trademarks. GitHub and its logo are GitHub trademarks. Their use does not imply endorsement.
Security and support
Report security issues privately. For product help, use the support guide or open an issue.
